This Sunday we are recognizing our high school seniors! What an exciting time of year and big transition in life. We would like to recognize these seniors, pray for them and give them a tool to help them to be equipped spiritually for the future.

White Fields church is hosting a men's conference this Spring! Friday and Saturday, May 19th and 20th. What are Life Groups?
Life Groups are an exciting new type of group where we, as a church, strive to resemble the kinds of relationships we are commanded to have in the Bible. Life Groups are not a traditional group or Bible study that you may be familiar with, but are instead a no-strings-attached way to fellowship with one another in a casual environment. Each group is lead by a host family who will open their homes and provide dinner, and each session will include uplifting discussion and will end with prayer over one another. And, each group will only meet 5 times over the summer to best accommodate your summer plans.
Why should I join a Life Group?
Did you know that Jesus, just before his crucifixion while he was in the Garden of Gethsemane, took the time to specifically pray for you? He prayed that:
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me” (John 17:20-23).
Jesus prayed that we would be a family who has “complete unity” with one another, unity as close as the unity between Jesus and God the Father. He also prayed that this unity alone would be enough to show unbelievers that God sent Jesus to the world because he loves them. Can you imagine, without saying a single word, someone putting their faith in Jesus just by seeing the unity that you have with other believers? I believe that this unity that Jesus prayed that we would have with one another is possible for us to have today. We cannot settle for the kind of unity that the world provides at the gym, water cooler, classroom, bar, or even in non-believing families. As Christians, we have the ability to enjoy “complete unity,” so let’s pursue it together! Life Groups are a place where you can strive for this kind of unity with like-minded believers.

You can sign up for a Life Group by simply clicking the link below, or by signing up in person during church. You will be able to sign up for Life Groups during the entire month of May, but be aware that the groups are starting as soon as May 9th. We need volunteers!
In order to help the homeless and poor in our community we want to provide as many services as we can at these events. Here are some of the areas we need volunteers:
Haircuts, manicures, wound care, cooking and serving food, praying for people, help with set up and tear down. We are also needing as many Spanish speaking volunteers as possible.
Just because you can't make it to the event doesn't mean you can't be involved! Here are some ways you can still help out: Cooking food; donating clothes, food and supplies; and supporting financially.

On May 25th our Thursday Night Men's Fellowship is starting a study through the book of James in the church at 6pm. This New Testament book is full of wisdom, instruction, and encouragement. Our children's teachers have a profound opportunity to help lay a foundation of Biblical truth in our young people's lives. To quote Destine, one of our children's teachers, "It's an amazing experience to spend time with these kids and teach them the word of God! They are sponges for love and knowledge, and it's such a privilege to be a tiny part of God's work in their lives!" If you have a heart for the next generation and a gift for teaching and want to invest in something that is eternally rewarding become a teacher in our children's church! We're rebooting our "Buddy System" at Calvary Brighton to help children with special needs have an awesome time at church! In Luke 12:12-14 Jesus talks about inviting the most needy people to a feast in order to bless someone who cannot repay you. This ministry is a beautiful way to serve those who may not be able to serve themselves and a wonderful way to bless and serve their families. Now that we've completed our study through the Minor Prophets we look forward to the studying the subject of many of those prophecies, the life and ministry of Jesus! Camp is officially full!
100 campers will be attending Eagle Lake Camp in Brighton this Summer!! 34 of those kids are from Calvary Brighton. Now we need your help to make camp possible!
There are several ways you can get involved with camp this year!
Camp runs from July 17th to the 21st.
1. Check in and checkout volunteers: We need help checking kids in and out every day. If you are interested click the green button below to learn more and sign up.

Hope First Family Resource center is opening a location in Brighton to serve the needs of women and men who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. This is a pro-life organization that seeks to support people in this situation through relationship, health, pregnancy, parenting, life skills, and fatherhood services.
They are currently in their building renovation phase and are raising funds in order to complete the projects, as well as seeking anyone who would be willing to partner with them to donate their time, expertise, and skills to keep things moving. Meet Sean Rafferty, Leadership Pastor and Director of E4 Life Gap Year Program at Rocky Mountain Calvary
I have been pastoring within Calvary Chapel for over 25 years. My wife Lisa and I have had the incredible privilege of traveling to over 30 countries leading teams and sharing the gospel with the hurting and the lost. We have four lovely daughters. I was also a church planter for 7 years, pioneering a new work in Chihuahua, Mexico. I returned from the mission field in 2014 to fill a pastoral role here at RMC. My responsibilities include oversight of Missions, oversight of media and design, staff development, Connect Groups and community building inside the church. I am also the director of our new E4Life gap year program.
What is the "E4 Life" gap year program?
E4Life is a 10-month international break from ordinary life. Based on Ephesians chapter 4, our purpose is to help young people become who they were meant to be by activating them in their kingdom calling to do what they were meant to do. This gap year includes Bible classes in Colorado Springs, adventures in the rocky mountains and a long term cross-cultural outreach in Peru.
"The world pressures young adults to doubt their faith and walk away. At E4Life, we combat those pressures by equipping the next generation with Biblical truth and experience that will ground them for a lifetime and give them confidence and character to impact the world."
